She stargazed to the sky with him beside her. Fireworks everywhere, yeah it's new year's eve. She loves how fireworks paints the dark sky with lights even for just a second. "Do you remember how we first met, darl?" she smiled to him. "You said your phone was broken...", she stopped for a moment and continues, "your phone was broken, you could not call or text, and you asked for my number and tried to call me, to show that it's broken.. but unlucky you, my phone rang. And I just giggle, knowing that you do that trick just to get my number.. what a smooth move hahaha". "Ah sh*t hahaha you got me!" he smiled and pulled her to his chest. "It's cheesy, and you already heard it million times, but I love you", he kissed her in forehead. She moved her head and looked at him, "I know... Love you too..", and she returned a smooch on the lips. She suddenly remembered the letters he wrote on her last birthday. She never expected that he could write such beautiful and long letter.....
Types of content that I want in my newsletter
By Helena Natanael - Friday, October 19, 2018
As a blogger + worker, I do receive tons of e-mail in my mailbox. Mostly from sites I subscribed to, and work-related emails. I'd love to "select all and delete" them but I ended up always take a peek of what they send to me, especially when their e-mail subjects are interesting, e.g. "NEW CLOTHING COLLECTION" or everything starts with "PROMO!" hahaha. Those subjects certainly catch my eye, but I usually also delete it when I read the content and it looked boring. Let me share my thougths of some e-mail newsletter content (that will make me click on the e-mail to finds out more) !
1. Put a main image. But not too much images there please!
According to Fast Company, people process images 60,000 times faster than text, which is a real incentive to make sure yours are working as hard as they can. For example, Birchbox, a beauty retailer, does an excellent job enticing subscribers with imagery. Rather than sticking in a boring product photo, they design their emails as though they’re standalone images. The copy and imagery work together to create an extremely engaging message.Psst, mostly those interesting newsletters follow this template.
2. PROMOTIONS! who doesn't love it?
Of course, this doesn't need more explanations ;)I'm taking DSW, a shoe retailer, as an example. They send out a $5 off coupon to celebrate subscribers’ birthdays. Isn't that sweet?
3. Animated GIFs and Interactive e-mails, anyone?
One of the best ways to freshen up the content is by making it move. Yes, now is a good time to try making newsletter emails more interactive! For example, Southern Proper created a GIF of their different shirts to show off different offerings. Seems interesting for me!
Wonder if e-mail marketing is still relevant in this social media invasion era? You should read this article (click here!) Let me know too about what do you guys think about e-mails in your mailbox! Have a nice day fellas :)

Commuting in Jakarta: Corridor 13 - Transjakarta
By Helena Natanael - Friday, August 17, 2018
I've never care about sharing my thoughts about Jakarta and government things before, because all I know is the government is bunch of bad persons corrupting my parent's money (and people's money too) to feed their own family and ego, not for building good infrastructure or facility for Jakarta citizen. I always being told that the taxes we paid is not going anywhere but the government's pocket. But all my thoughts about the bad government in the world (especially Jakarta, my hometown) is changed when I find out about Mr Joko Widodo, Mr Basuki (Ahok) and Mr Djarot. They give me hope that Jakarta can be a better city that ease the living of Jakarta citizen. Besides of their controversy (I believe it's the bad persons that has lost their access to corrupt people's money that initiate such a drama and scenario to bring down these 3 amazing leaders), I can say that their dedication and good work are shaping Jakarta into better metropolis, better capital city. It's a fact. And I am truly admiring these 3 leaders.
One of the most recent achievement in their leadership era, is the Corridor 13 of Transjakarta. As a worker commuting from Tangerang to South Jakarta, this corridor HELPS a lot. It saves my time from 1.5 hours on the wheels and cut it into half, only 40 mins! For only IDR 3.500 ( or IDR 2.000 if you make it to pay before 7 AM every day ), it surely saves my money also. This post is the gratitude expression of mine, being able to use this facility and feel also the impact of Transjakarta in my daily life. I hope there will be more trustworthy leaders that will actually make improvements of Jakarta and Indonesia, to be better place for everyone living here. Happy Independence's Day, Indonesia! ♡ ♡
After a date night, my boyfriend drove me home. Then, when we arrived, he picked his bag and give me a handwritten letter with a small heart cushion attached to the letter. He said "because you stole my heart". It might be cheesy if it slid from ordinary person, but he ain't ordinary man. I never expect that he will become this man that I know. He is a sweet guy, always pampering me with care, always puts me first before himself. I always tried not to bother him too much but somehow he always find out what my problem is (or maybe I am too weak not to spoil it to him, he is kind of my living diary right now..)
Hai teman-teman!
