Commuting in Jakarta: Corridor 13 - Transjakarta
By Helena Natanael - Friday, August 17, 2018
I've never care about sharing my thoughts about Jakarta and government things before, because all I know is the government is bunch of bad persons corrupting my parent's money (and people's money too) to feed their own family and ego, not for building good infrastructure or facility for Jakarta citizen. I always being told that the taxes we paid is not going anywhere but the government's pocket. But all my thoughts about the bad government in the world (especially Jakarta, my hometown) is changed when I find out about Mr Joko Widodo, Mr Basuki (Ahok) and Mr Djarot. They give me hope that Jakarta can be a better city that ease the living of Jakarta citizen. Besides of their controversy (I believe it's the bad persons that has lost their access to corrupt people's money that initiate such a drama and scenario to bring down these 3 amazing leaders), I can say that their dedication and good work are shaping Jakarta into better metropolis, better capital city. It's a fact. And I am truly admiring these 3 leaders.
One of the most recent achievement in their leadership era, is the Corridor 13 of Transjakarta. As a worker commuting from Tangerang to South Jakarta, this corridor HELPS a lot. It saves my time from 1.5 hours on the wheels and cut it into half, only 40 mins! For only IDR 3.500 ( or IDR 2.000 if you make it to pay before 7 AM every day ), it surely saves my money also. This post is the gratitude expression of mine, being able to use this facility and feel also the impact of Transjakarta in my daily life. I hope there will be more trustworthy leaders that will actually make improvements of Jakarta and Indonesia, to be better place for everyone living here. Happy Independence's Day, Indonesia! ♡ ♡
